Privacy Policy for Kassa POS

1. What we collect

Kassa POS processes payment transactions through your connected Stripe account. We do not store cardholder data. The app transmits the following information to complete a payment:

• Transaction amount and currency
• Customer email address (only if you choose to send a receipt)

All payment data is handled directly by Stripe. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for details on how they process this information.

2. Your Stripe account

To use Kassa POS you must connect a Stripe account via Stripe Connect OAuth. Kassa stores only your Stripe account ID locally on your device to maintain the connection. No financial data from your Stripe account is stored on Kassa servers.

3. Product catalog

Products you create in Kassa are stored as Stripe Products and Prices on your own Stripe account. Kassa does not maintain a separate copy.

4. Device permissions

• Bluetooth — used to connect to Stripe Terminal Bluetooth card readers (WisePad 3, M2).
• Location — required by Stripe Terminal to verify the payment location as required by card network rules. Location data is not stored or transmitted to Kassa.

5. Analytics and advertising

Kassa POS does not collect analytics data and does not display advertising.

6. Data retention

Transaction records are accessible through your Stripe Dashboard and governed by Stripe's data retention policies. Kassa does not retain independent copies of transaction data.

7. Children

Kassa POS is a business application and is not directed at children under the age of 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
